Pre-Install and Check Measure
Once your customer has chosen their window coverings, we will contact them directly to arrange an pre-install and check measure appointment. We will measure each window and record all of the appropriate measurements to be added to the job order prior to submission to the window covering manufacturer. This step is important to ensure that the end product fits perfectly and saves time, money and potential customer frustration.
Installation
Once the window coverings are ready to hang, our Certified Window Covering Technician will give the customer a call and schedule an installation appointment at a time that works best for them. The Certified Window Covering Technician will:
- Arrive with the window treatments and any required additional installation equipment required.
- Place drop cloths down to protect the customer’s home.
- Open all boxes and distribute the window coverings to the correct room locations.
- Install all window treatments.
- Balance, adjust and test the blinds, attach all child safety hardware for drapery shades or shutters to make sure everything is working perfectly.
- Walk the customer through the operation of the blinds, drapery, shades or shutters.
- Final clean up, place all garbage in assigned area.
Upon completion of the installation, the Certified Window Covering Technician will present a Certificate of Completion Form to be signed by the customer with any comments on the installation and our work in general to help us improve.
